New York Theatre Barn
For the past 14 years, New York Theatre Barn has created a home for original culture shifting musicals during incubation. Since 2007, NYTB has valued musical theatre as one of the world’s supreme healing tools, creating space for artists to dream about how beautiful and extraordinary the world can be. New York Theatre Barn also provides space, funding, and a safe opportunity to experiment in front of live audiences often for the first time.
The works that we have incubated and produced, created mostly by BIPOC and underrepresented artists, have gone on to be presented on Broadway, Off-Broadway, in regional theatres, and internationally. Each of our programs (New Works Series, Choreography Lab, Residency opportunities, and Theatre Barn Records) provide a home for the musicals of tomorrow. Please consider helping us reach our goal of raising $15,000 to start our 15th year of programming.
