Marlise! is a campy, big-hearted new musical comedy about Marlise, a fading Hollywood star framed for murder and Arnold the obsessive superfan who's the only one who believes she's innocent. Think Sunset Boulevard crossed with Oh Mary!: a screwball 1950s caper spoofing Golden Age Hollywood, film noir, and Technicolor biblical epics, with real heart underneath all the glamour.

Written by Jesse Ayala (Book & Lyrics) and Justino Tesoro (Music & Lyrics), Marlise! runs at The Players Theatre in NYC, August 13 – September 6, 2026.
