New York Theatre Barn
This year, New York Theatre Barn has continued to be an innovative and safe haven for artists and audiences. With intention, we presented culture-shifting stories by writers that we need to hear from to live and virtual global audiences. During our 17th season, we made musical theatre development the most accessible that it’s ever been. Because of folx like you.
In 2024, we had the privilege and opportunity to support:
- The development of 24 Original Musicals
- The work of 7 Choreographers
- 4 Writers with Barn on Fire, our summer residency on Fire Island (in partnership with the Fire Island Pines Arts Project)
- Our podcast Backstage Pass from Broadway Podcast Network lifted up 10 new musicals
- And the Theatre Barn Records releases of Café Con Leche and Ghost in the Machine, featuring Linedy Genao (Bad Cinderella), Taylor Iman Jones (Six), and Eddie Noel Rodríguez (Hadestown)
Since gratitude is our attitude, we are reaching out to thank you for your support this year. We can’t wait to announce what we have lined up in our upcoming 18th season in 2025, which includes:

- The 12th Season of our Choreography Lab
- Our 4th Summer Residency at Barn on Fire
- A new season of our podcast Backstage Pass
